The Department of Defense announced today the death of a
sailor who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Petty Officer 3rd Class Devon J. Doyle, 21, of Alamosa,
Colorado, died May 16, in Manama, Bahrain, of a non-combat related incident
while on liberty. The incident is under investigation.
He was assigned to USS Farragut (DDG 99), homeported in
Mayport, Florida.
