The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
1st. Lt. Andres Zermeno, 26, of San Antonio, Texas, died Sep. 25 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with a rocket propelled grenade.
